Jane brings a unique style to her work with family law clients and their own personal situations. She actively engages with clients to manage complex matters, situations and issues discretely and sensitively. Whether these situations involve financial settlements, maintenance, child support, parenting issues, child relocation, or support in a litigation or mediation, Jane is committed to assisting clients to move forward.  

Jane’s three decades of working with clients on complex and sensitive family law matters has included working with clients in Australia and overseas, as well as clients based in cities and regional areas. 

As a former partner of two national law firms, Jane brings a commercial perspective to her work, tempered with a firm but fair approach and a down to earth style. Jane’s personal background and professional experience are diverse.  A child of mixed race parents, Jane understands that individuals, couples and families are unique and so too are their matters and the solutions.

 Jane’s experience in both complex and straightforward matters – coupled with her early career involvement in the litigation department of a large provincial law firm – has fostered Jane's ability to consider matters from a multi-disciplinary perspective, as well as a focus on succession issues and her enjoyment of partnering with subject matter experts to resolve matters.
